so i got a colaborator card to check my focus and this is what I'm getting on my Nikon D7200 with the 35mm 1.8 lens...is all f'ed up
Can someone help me out here? The focus target is the lower "D" in the center The blurry photo - I use viewfinder (AFS-S) camera set on table The photo thats more in focus...used Liveview |

Yup, judging from the first pic, the camera locked in on the leftmost focus points.

If so, that's user error, not the camera nor the lens.

Does the lens have a history of focusing issues? I'm a Canon guy but I know that the first gen 24-70 f/2 L lens has a batch that suffers from back focusing issues.
