Retrofit DVD changer?
How hard is this? The space exists in the glovebox but I don't think it's "prepared" from the factory; do I just order the bracket and changer itself through BMW's spares network?

My car VIN breakdown stated DVD changer preparation. But honestly in this type of car I can't see anyone ever using it. I suppose if you don't have iDrive to store music on or prefer CD audio and a car full of rattly CD's. DVD movies you're only going to watch rarely when waiting for someone perhaps. Its quite an expensive move, depends on how much you'll use it.

It's to be able to load all six discs of the extended Lord Of The Rings trilogy; they have 6.1 DTS audio perfect for the professional/premium audio system.
Yes I'm actually serious. |
