Removal of Rocker Panels/sideskirts?
Has anyone done this? I can't find a write up on the web or maybe my search skills aren't good enough.

Not a difficult job, I fitted side skirts to mine a while back. There's one bolt at the bottom of the front wheel arch and two underneath at the rear, there's about 7 expanding rivets along the bottom of the panel, remove all these and pull the panel outwards starting at the front, it's easier if there's two people doing this. There are are also clips holding it in place on the inside, use just enough force to unclip these. Be prepared for a few of these to break, you may be lucky, I had 4 broken after removing both sides. Hope this helps.

Can anyone share a few more specifics on removing the rocker panel? It's clear that there are bolts and expanding rivets underneath. What else does one remove? When pull, which direction? Do you slide it one way or the other to release the inside clips? If you are breaking them, you're likely doing it wrong, IMHO.
Thanks! Filippo
