"And do report back on the PDC experience!! I'm on 8/4 and VERY interested to hear what you have to say about it."
I sure will report back. I thought the experience would increase my respect for the machine and help prevent me from sliding into a ditch! |

I feel it's a bit on the cheap side quality wise. It also folds up and packs away into a sleave. |

Since I don't have much roadster experience, I can't comment too much on wind buffeting but it didn't seem too bad, even at 80 mph. Although, I wouldn't want to drive a long distance like that.

27" wide x 30" deep x 10" tall, maybe less at the back. With the top down, the gap to fit something in the trunk is only 8" deep but there is a "trunk loading" feature that raises the top up to get bigger items in the trunk. I've not tried it yet. PS: BMW lists 6 cu.ft. with the top down. I just saw the new Infiniti G37 is only 1.9 cu.ft. Now that's useless. PPS: The floor mats in the pics were temporary. I have received my "Z4" embroidered ones from the dealer as part of the deal. |

I agree, and was surprised by the lack of buffeting at higher speeds (I don't have the wind deflector fitted).

Richard,
all the black z4's I've seen have had blacked out grilles (I've only seen 2 black dealer cars) but it looks like your grille is the regular matte silver. Would you know if this is just an option or if the dealer swapped it out. |

As far as I know, all U.S. 3.0s come with the flat black grill and all 3.5s come with the chrome grill. All dealers received a Black Sapphire 3.0 non-sport with red interior (and black grill). So I'd guess that combination will be frequently seen in pictures and on the road. I took a pic of this one, to compare with mine:
