deep sea blue with coral red??? any???
Hi everyone. I used to be an enthusiast of the space grey/coral red setup and in fact this is how I firstly ordered my baby s35. But I happened to see a couple of space greys around and in my eyes it looked kind of old and rusty for my taste.
Alpine white was my next choice, excellent color, fashionable maybe, but there will be too many cars in white, and spending a great deal of money should offer you a certain degree of differentiation after all. And then I saw a deep blue sea and my jaw fell on the ground. Amazing color, so nothing wrong with being fashionable . The point is that I insist in the coral red interior and that's where my doubt begins... Does anyone have a deep blue sea with coral red ?? Any photos? Am I committing a crime over here? Cheers.. |

It's all a matter of personal taste, but I will say that the cars with red interiors seem to sit a LOT longer on the lot whether new or used. I think the crowd that loves them is pretty small.
So just my humble opinion, but if you are considering resale at any point, that might be a factor in the amount of time / amount you get...

there are a few people on the M3 side that have done blue and red, but the fox red on an M3 is browner than coral red (funnily it is fox like!)
grey, white, black or even silver would work with red, but not DSB. I think DSB requires either white, beige or black leather. black with red always looks stunning. |

I think you would have to special order this, as the online configurator doesn't allow this combination. I also agree with the poster above who pointed out that you could pay the price at re-sale time. |

Ideally I would do Mojave Metallic with Coral Red, but I'm still not sure if that's a possible build combination.

You can't go wrong either way. Except mojava/coral red I 'm sure you can find every other combination here on the forum. Keep us posted about your concerns/decision.

It depends on personal taste.
I do have DSB/black combo. I do think red coral interior only fits perfectly on AW.

It's too bad because I really like DSB, and I though maybe I could do that with Walnut interior but I just can't talk myself out of coral red.

My Z is Deep Sea Blue with the Coral Interior. I've entered it in shows and everyone loves the color combo. Matter of opinion - but any Z looks Fabulous. The red is different and from what I've experienced was a grand choice. I am very happy and I'm sure you will be too! Best of luck in your decision.

I just ordered this for my IS and I think it looks great!! I was bouncing back and forth between something tan or white. I already have a light color interior on my 3 series and the Coral Red is a welcomed pop, with out the hassle of cleaning worries.
OP- Im glad you went with your gut and did the combo!! |
