1st day Munich delivery 35i and mods
As featured on ZPOST HOMEPAGE.
The appointment was 10th of june in one delivery center of BMW in Munich. After the delivery was done arround 9:00pm the car was looking poor with these ugly 17'' basic wheels.I decided to visit BMW wheel center in Garching and change to 19'' design 296 .Arround 13:00 after the change the car transformed totaly to an agressive sport looking car. Then i decided to visit BMW Welt for some pictures and at arround 16:00 some quick runs at the autobahn.Since i had a 335i E92 with V3 installed the Z4 was looking slow in the autobahn. At around 18:00 i stopped at a friends garage and installed my V3 (much easier than the 335i) and drove it some Kms to adapt. Now the car was feeling much faster so i was very happy. Then i decided to stop at a beer restaurant for a cold beer and some schnitsel and sausages with a friend .That made my day complete. Enjoy the pics. Last edited by M3EST; 06-13-2009 at 08:11 AM.. |

Beautiful car, the wheels make the car much more aggressive. Quick question though, so you can still take delivery of cars at the old center in Munich? I thought all of these went to the a brand new one next to the museum, maybe the old center is still being used for European buyers?
Nevertheless props on one bad ride. |

Great car! Especially with those rims. Doesn't the engine deliver too much torque for the DCT with that mod? And where did you get that mod for the antenna? It must be the smallest one I've seen so far

Interesting photo of the sat nav screen. I'm sure my map can either have the scale set at either 75 or 150, but you've got me thinking whether mines is in metres or yards...?
Terrific looking car, especially with the 19" wheels

The torque limit of the DCT is around 600nm so there is no problem.Everything works fine till now.The antenna mod was a present from a German friend.I think you can find it in ebay.de.
