New heated steering wheel only lukewarm
I recently swapped my M-sport heated steering wheel for a new one (leather was getting pretty worn on the old one). The new wheel doesn't seem to get as warm as the old one. Any thoughts?
Can the temp be coded up? Would putting the module under the lower spoke with the M badge from the old wheel into the new wheel do anything (if that's possible)? |

There is no coding, it is what it is.
I've changed seat pad before and noticed a difference in temp. It could simply be that the old was so worn that the heat was getting to your hands more than the nice new, thicker, leather will allow.
