Beeping Sound Every 30 Seconds
My neighbor has a 2011 Z4 3.5i with extremely low milage. In fact it's on the battery tender more than on the road. The car has been idle for the past two weeks on the tender. This morning the car began producing a beeping sound exactly every 30 seconds. The sound appears to be coming from under the center of the car. Has anyone experienced this problem? If so, how was it addressed?
Thanks for the assistance. |

Is it inside or outside of your vehicle?

Finally had the time to look more closely at the neighbor's Z4 beeping noise. Beeping sound was coming from under the center of the car. As I noted in my original post, the car is seldom moved (2011 with only 1200 miles). Well, the beep wasn't coming from the car after all. There was an old lawn edging tool on a battery charger behind some stored items in the garage. The beeping from the charger echoed under the car. Obviously I should have looked more closely before posting an inquiry on the forum. Sorry!
