3D-Design gauge pod and Prosport gauges
Installed boost, EGT and AFR gauges in the Z4 today. The 3D-Design gauge pod is excellent in terms of build quality and really matches the OEM look. The gauges are wired up to light amber and match the dash almost perfectly.
Here's a short video of the startup sequence:

Install was a breeze once I figured out to to remove the top of the center console without breaking it It just snaps in place, but requires a bit of effort to pull out. I had the smokers package, so I was able to pull +12V and ground for the gauges off of the connector for the cigarette lighter. Running sensor wires into the engine bay also fairly easy as there is a large rubber grommet on the passenger side firewall which is easily accessible once you remove the under-dash cover.

pretty hard to see them when in 3rd or 5th gear to be honest. Its not a kit, you can get the gauge pod from iND and the gauges came from prosport. They have tons of gauges availble so you can pick whichever 52mm ones you want.

Do you have to cut into And splice into the OEM wiring harness(s)?
What are the Under the Hood wiring connections? Cost of the POD with gauges? Thanx,
