so would the 35iS brakes be comparable to what? 335i brakes? 1M? M3? M3 brakes were crap on track as well, but the Z4 was worse, even when I changed to Motul660 to prevent the constant boiling...

Same feelings here. The brakes aren't really doing it for constand hard driving. I feed the pedal will get progressively softer and spongy as the day goes. I too have swapped with Motul fluid but still a stock brake and lines. Not helping much at all. going to keep it this way for now since I have DP FMIC waiting to be installed. Don't want to spoil my mod itch this year too much.

When this car was first uncovered back in 2009 we all agreed that it was the most beautiful car BMW has ever made. Today, 4 years and many other new series models later, I still think that this car is the most beautiful car BMW has in its fleet.

Unfortunately, BMW brakes seem to frail in comparison to Mercedes brakes :/ Hopefully BMW releases better braking systems in the next model (both for the Z and M3) I never looked into BBKs for the Z4 as it was more of a daily leisure car. I should have probably changed the pads too... Keep us posted on what pads you use and what works for this car! If I get another Z4, I'll probably go with Carbotech pads or project mu (don't feel like dropping $800+ on Endless brake pads again..)
