I love this car. This is my third Z4 and by far the best. Not a week goes by that someone doesn't go out of their way to ask about the car. I have been driving my 2010 for over two years now and every time that I park it, I still look back at it two or three times as I am walking away.
I agree with the other posters that state that the interior is the nicest of most cars in any price range. The exterior is the sexiest that I have ever seen for sure!

Yes but for the $100,000 more that you would spent on the Ferrari, a person could afford to put a V10 from an M6 in the Z!!

Show off my car? Well, okay, since you asked I created a new thread in the Gallery/Pics/Videos section.
Here are the pictures showing the glare / reflections from the stitching. Although it's almost "shocking" when I get into the car, once driving, I don't notice it as much. And it's a lot less once the roof is open. |

Although I'm having an affair with an E92 M3, I never divorced my Z4. As a matter of fact I committed after the lease ended....especially after all the expensive plastic surgery she had gone through the last couple of years. She gets plenty of compliments all the time. M3 and Z4, I decided to have my cake and eat it too. Thought I'd share her transformation:

I love my Z4... but it has nothing on my E93 M3 in terms of driving pleasure and experience
Though the Z4 is a far better DD with the N54 vs the S65, and being smaller so easier to park/fit tighter spots. They can totally fit the S65 in the Z4...if they did that, I could see myself getting one... I just wish the suspension was more like the Porsche! And how do some of you Valet?!?!? I rather drop off my date or make her walk with me than valet. I've changed dinner reservations if a place was valet only or if they didn't let me park the car myself... When I had my previous P-Car, it came back with almost 20 miles on it. I was furious. and I have had friends who valet cars... Never valet... never never! I can't stress this enough

I just think it is hard to look better than this - the perfect blend of class and aggressiveness without the over the top flashy so common today with people as well as their cars.

OK, Flip, I give up. I love your look, but what are the differences in the interior shot besides the bottle of water?

Jparnes1 - thicker m steering wheel and m shifter. Since mine is a 2010, I did not have the option for the m package.

Vintage - same goes for yours!! It's the black beauty version.
SNK - I did not do any suspension modifications. I do however have BMW performance front brakes. I'd like to see some development for the rears.

As for brakes, I would be happy if **********s or someone just put together a 4 caliper slotted or drilled rotors option with stainless lines, Ferrodo pads, and front Bembo 6 or 4 pot calipers as an option. That way I could buy the package in Silver calipers with red script, new rotors on all 4 corners, stainless lines, and improved pads. That would be sweet even if I were still stuck with the fugly at the back.

Hi all! Thanks for all the props! Although Alpine is my favorite color with red interior, It is refreshing to see a variety of color combos. It has an awesome body (top up or down) to look stylishly sleek, sexy, elegant, and aggressive. IMHO, type of wheels play a big factor on a car's looks.

The deep sea blue with ivory seems popular as well...
This shot does highlight the different impact the wheels have. In the end it is personal taste though.
