REAR: 9.5x19" ET39 265/35-19 - Anyone have anything close with pics? (on a 3Series)
Anyone have any pictures of a 265/35/19 tire on 19x9.5" ET39 wheel?
Want to find some pictures of something close to see how it would look/poke out, if it rubs, etc... Based on comparing to the stock 19's (401's/403m's) using a calculator it says: Fenders clearance: Will stick out 13 mm (0.5'') farther. Acceptable for most cars. Wheelwells clearance: Will fill out the wheelwell by extra 4 mm. Almost no difference. I looked up some pictures of people's cars with 10-15mm spacers on those 401's and it looked fine, so I am assuming this should fit well based on these #'s.... Anyone have some real world pics? Thanks! Last edited by kromix; 01-26-2016 at 10:01 AM.. |

Looks PERFECT!
But the 4 series is different right? It can fit a bigger rear wheel? or is it identical to the 3? anyone know? |

I think in the 3 series there are 2 or 3 mm less space.

I think you will not rub but the tire protrude wheel arch. In my country, that's not legal and I go to the limit

Sorry to hijack the thread but I was hoping that someone knew if this wheel set up would work. F 19 x 8.5 ET 32 on 235/35/19 and R 19 x 9.5 ET 35 on 265/30/19 would fit on a 428i GC. Appreciate any info as I'm looking to buy these wheels from another user but want to make sure they fit without any rubbing. Btw, I will be installing H & R sport springs as well. Again, thanks for any input.

In my next tire change I also go to 255, Michelin PSS are very meaty and 255 is a good measure for 9.5 "

I still think 235/265 is better balanced on 8.5/9.5" wheels. 225/255 tires will look too stretched, but that is up to personal taste.
Another option with 265 rear tires is to dial in some negative camber, you wouldn't need much if any to avoid rubbing. |

I used this for reference on 255 - 9.5", looks fine to me, does it look stretched to your taste? *Source: http://blog.m0dbargains.com/customer...li-snow-tires/ |

As I said, it's up to personal taste!
MadZarBMR has 225/255 MPSS tires on 8.5/9.5" BBS wheels with similar offsets (your rear wheels is 4 mm less aggressive). Have a look in this thread: f30.bimmerpost.com |

I'm by no means knowledgeable in the tire/wheel fitment world but Offset doesn't affect tire fit/stretch right? It's just the width of the wheel vs the width of the tire?
