Came across this vid that really simplifies blinker maintenance, maybe this will help us increase usage:
You're welcome!

I normally enjoy chris's diys but he actually went thru on making a vid on it is silly imo. its just as cliche as when someone installs a decal and another guy says it adds 3hp.

I heard Walmart is having a sale on blinker fluid, apparently it comes with salt additive for your gas to keep it from freezing in the winter.

If you change your own blinker fluid, will you risk voiding your warranty?

I guess that is why we should only use BMW-brand synthetic fluid. Can never be too careful...

We need to get in touch with the OP in the video
He forgot a very important step for folks that live in northern climates......testing your blinker fluid to ensure that its rated for cold weather. |

actually this isn't covered under the maintenance schedule, so BMW won't even do this.
they deem it the same as checking tire PSI, but will check it if you ask them, my dealer is fantastic and they did it when I took mine to get my tires pumped up, they use only proper regulated BMW air, with 80% added nitrogen. They also suggested BMW blinker fluid, think it's made by Bosch. did both jobs should have charged be $499+ tax, let only charged me $450, nice guys ! |
