Which netbook should i choose?

what's up guys i'm looking to get a netbook mainly for my car for the BT scanner and JB3 interface. i'm looking to spend ~$300 and i narrowed it down to these 2, they are the same price but i don't really know what to look for when it comes to computers so which one would you guys recommend?

Acer Aspire One AO532h-2268 Netbook

or

Toshiba NB255 Netbook

In my experience... Acer is pure shit. I know you don't except much of it, but still. Toshiba are slightly better.

IMO, I would go with Asus for netbooks.

They are pretty solid, keyboard is good, and it is overall a good company. Acer feels cheaper and keyboard is not that good. Toshiba... I just think it is weird buying a computer from a company that does not make especially that. But that's just me.

I had an Aspire One. I will admit that I did drop from about 3 feet and the HD failed. So they replaced it, then I had to fight and fight to get my Windows product code from them because the MS sticker rubbed off on the bottom of it. I never got the code, then when I tried reinstalling another OS the battery failed.

Get the Toshiba... Or I replaced mine with a Gateway LT2104u and I really like it.

Also, bear in mind that these Netbook's all come with Windows 7 basic, which is so watered down you can't even change the wallpaper. Just a heads up. I did find a program that works around that flawlessly, but it's something to consider.

+1 on Asus..I have the 1005HA-P.. 10.5 hr battery life.

I got mine for about $215 brand new a while ago..

+1 I JUST bought one on Ebay for 146.50. They are either used or refurbished but thats fine with me since its for the 135 only. Checkout auctions by cowboom or 2ndTurn electronics. Make sure you read the auctions for what alls included. Some come with no O/S installed but those sometimes come with the restore disk, some dont. Good luck

Sony Vaio Notebook is very good for Personal use . Sony vaio we get with windows vista, Intel duel 2GH Processor, 2G Memory, 175G HDD, 128Mb dedicated memory ( video card ) it's 1024Mb in general, webcam, wireless, 4 usb's .
