Ah…so no actual measurement…..note the ‘upto’…

I misread your stage tune ..I thought it was 1+

You notice that their stage 2 with more hardware produces less power than their stage 1+?

What fuel are you using?

Well on 95 Ron on stage 1 more like 345-350 crank BHP I suspect

Looks like their stage 1 is more like a 35is type flash..

I used 98 Ron on mhd stage 1+,2,2+ on v9 then v10

All baseline and tested on the same dyno..

Would be really good to dyno test it stock before tweaking it..otherwise you have no real correlation as to the true nature of the tweaks…fwiw

That’s what I have done for both my E89s..

98RON is definitely the way to go. At first i also started with the milder fuel and map. But soon upped it to a 98ron tune. Feels stronger, more agressive on 98ron. Theres definitely a difference between different fuels and their maps. I have been on 98RON for years now. Wont put anything else in the tank.

Also look at your back to back accelerations... first few may be strong but then it would weaken due to heatsoak. Intercooler surely fixed that. With uprated intercooler you will have a more consistant performance.
You will surely notice it on a track session. Put your mhd gauges up and monitor your intake air temp while driving.

This is from Cobb website.. stock vs 91oct(95ron) vs 93oct(98ron).

So you are leaving some performance unused when on 95RON fuel and map.

I'd guess 20-30 bhp 95 vs 98 on a good tune on a n54?

This is basically the map im using at the moment... That "aggressive" means its a 93oct/ 98RON map. ST means standard throttle ( There is linear option aswell) and stage 1+ is for uprated intercooler. This is a bit older map though... There have been some updates to cobb maps since then... they stopped naming their maps as aggressive and now name them by the fuel they are meant for. Bit better to understand.
So stage 1+ aggressive is now after minor updates named as just stage1+ 93oct/98ron map.
Though i have those older "aggressive" named maps still stored on my accessport for just in case.

i heard if you set ethanol map and use regular fuel you can say goodbye to your engine

I wouldnt test this... if requirements are not met then dont try it..
That said... i have seen people try stage 1+ maps without intercooler... still risky business imo...

You’re relying very very heavily on the knock sensors to save the engine from destruction..

Like jumping out if a plane hundreds of times without a back up parachute…
