Have the salmon relays ever been replaced? Located next to the battery at the pump assembly. If not, they should be. Lastly check the fuse for the convertible top. Up under the glove box. Fuse 25, if I recall...

i doubted the salmon relays were ever replaced so i called the dealership who said they could have them for me today for $50. upon purchase, they told me the relays were $50 EACH, so i ended up getting scammed by the stealership LOL. i switched the relays out but to no avail, and the fuse is also good…

Fairly typical dealer markup..cheaper direct but hindsight is wonderful

yeah i definitely should’ve ordered through fcp euro and saved a couple bucks.. after the windows go down from the convertible button, if i press it again, it sounds like the windows want to go down more but through ista they are recognized as open. what is supposed to happen after the windows go down? is the next step audible or something i can check to see if is active?

After all 4 windows are down and you continue to hold the roof open button down than the roof should sequentially pack itself in the boot..first part is rear boot lid pivots on its outer edge up..

i see, maybe the play is to just take to a shop for a diagnosis then... i'm lost and can't find similar issues in the z forums

Have you tried it with a brand new battery?

Did you try operating the convertible top using your manual key in the door lock?

Also, after the windows drop, can you hear the locks disengage in the cowl over your head?

yes, but to the same result… windows down, no latch/lock sound, no trunk opening, nothing…

as for a new battery, i will try to find a friend who has a different battery than me, i would rather not buy a brand new battery from the dealer if possible
