Well it sucks for that guy. Having a high end car like that going into a quick lube station.....come on. Its like taking your GT3 into one of those and asking them to change the oil. Those guys only deal with the common, easy to change stuff. The first thing he should have done was ask them if they knew what they were doing or say "I'll show you".
Anyways, I've done the quick oil change once. I went to Jiffy lube and had absolutely no issues. This was my 02 Trans Am and the guys knew what they were doing, it was as easy as pie for them. Now.....when I took my 06 GTO to the dealership, that is when I went outside to my car 2 days later to find the oil plug had FALLEN OFF and the oil was all over the ground.
I do all my oil changes up until I got the 1er. I still do it when its between 5k-6k, since I'm not waiting no 15k to a oil change but I still get the free one whenever. So far, so good with this dealership here.
