Interestingly this isn't the first time the term "Voltswagen" has been coined by the automaker as an old VW e-up ad resurfaces.
VW UK also has a "Voltswagen" twitter verified account which has since been abandoned since last year.
Since the branding will be only for the EV's, this may likely be another move for VW to distance themselves further from the Dieselgate scandal as well as highlight their commitment and effort towards EVs.
