I've also looked into many options to change my seat.
I wanted red from black.
OEM seats were too expensive, did not want to get seats from ebay or junk yard, my mechanic friends are all recommending not to paint the seat.

So I looked into seat covers for e89 and there are not really many places making them. Popular ones like Clazzio or Coverking, they don't make one for e89. Only one I found was Iggee, but when I looked Iggee applications from youtube and stuff, they didn't look good.

So, I hesitated alot between coloring, reupholstering, and this iggee seat covers and decided to give it a try to the iggee because they are really cheap ($175), and see if things aren't working well, I would consider reupholstering.

Here is the result after I installed Iggee.








Very impressed the quality of the product unlike those review videos.

side notes, do not buy the console cover, they dont fit well.
and installation takes long time to be perfect. took me 5 hours each seat, using steam machine to work with wrinkles.
