Have you considered a wing bc instead of a jacket? Imho, a much better rig for multiple reasons-- travel weight (~6 lbs. for a full setup), streamlining, buoyancy control, swim position, dive weight (I use ~ 6 lbs. for warm water) to name a few.
The Zeagle Stiletto, Dive Rite TransPac Single or Dive Rite Hydro-Lite are a few good examples of the breed and all are highly rated for both comfort and utility.
