If you read the Motor Trend article, you see that the 35i was also tested at 4.3 by Motor Trend.
Not everyone is going to get the same test result on every run. So, what we can conclude is that the BEST time for the 35i is 4.3.
That means the 35is time of 4.3 that we see posted in this thread is not and cannot be it's overall best time, since it's already been proven that the 35i can run a 4.3.

There is NO WAY the 35i would do 0-60 in 4.3.
BMW states 5.2 DCT/5.3 manual, and car magazines have managed 4.8/4.9 usually with a drag strip-like rolling start.
