Found out about the Polygon bike brand today, and that they're available locally... the Siskiu T7 or T8 (T for trail) look pretty well equipped for the price. They're definitely on the cheaper spectrum of things. Our used market around here sucks, too many people expecting full or 90% price for 5 yr old bikes.
YT Jeffsey is also making the list ( as LJ mentioned previously in this thread), so many non-mainstream brands out there.
