He averages 27.7 shots a game, not 50. Iverson averages 26 shots and LB 23.
What's my point? They all shoot alot (all are below 50%) and they all average 30+. Of course it makes sense the more you shoot, the more you will score. But great players put themselves in position to shoot and score.
The haters will be out there forever because he got caught cheating on his wife. I'm not talking about his character - but even his doubters are admitting that the 81 he dropped last night was an amazing feat. Read any article and even his most ardent enemies in the sports journalism world are giving him his props. He is not a more complete player than MJ but when Kobe is locked in - I don't think MJ could have ever reached his offensive plateau.
