Well, it seems that BMW is probably responding to the debates on forums, etc and a new set of spy-photos was caught of the car we saw just a a few days ago. This time the fake cavas roof is gone to reveal that the car will indeed have a retractable hardtop!!
Whats more, the profile shot really gives a good angle on the exact size and proportions of this car and hint that this car is alot bigger then initially thought and will likely be a Z8 Successor (everyone is calling it a Z9 at this point--ignore the similarity to the old showcar name).
BMW is likely going to go headtohead against the retractable hardtop mercedes SL with this car. Imagine an Z9M with the V10 under the hood
There will most likely be another Z car to compliment this one on the lower end of the size range. Rumors are of a small lightweight Z2 at the moment, we can only hope..
