Then multiplying the percentage outcome of HAM x RBR and VER x MB and that gives an insight in how much the car versus the driver determines the rating of who's best and who's second.

There have been lots of great F1 drivers, winning lots of championchips, but were quite boring.
I think most people watch the sport for the spectacular moments, the daring overtakes, the impossible saves, the brilliant stops in unforseen situations, that sort of stuff. Like Senna in the rain for those who are old enough.
Interesting. HAM has only lost one wet race in the past 5 years. Spectacular excites people but consistency wins championships. HAM is like a metronome. Relentless. Remorseless. And still Respectful. Not a dirty racer.
