Too much being made of his "get used to it" comment. I think it's a broader comment about how sometimes it takes time to accept and adapt to change.

I think the G8x will sell fine...lots of buyers will be excited about owning something bold, aggressive and/or "controversial". Is it enough buyers to replace BMW loyalists that will pass on an M3 for the first time? We'll find out soon enough. But this isn't going to put BMW out of business.

And if the big grills don't sell well, BMW will adapt and change and we'll all move on with our lives and find something new to bitch about. Win/win.
