I'm also having an engine heater installed for those few nights when I have to park outside in winter. This time the socket for the power plug will be in the engine bay and not next to the license plate as it is in my E85. Not that it's very visible anyway, but I don't want anything extra sticking out. Hopefully the plug is small enough to fit through the grill, so I won't have to keep the hood open.
Just one more thing you'll have to tell your dealer, if you're having a heater installed
