2008 750i 70k Valve Stem Seal Repair at 71k miles???

Hello,

I own a 2008 CPO from Peter Pan BMW purchased in 2010, put less than 8k miles on it yearly and it started burning oil (quarter 1-2 weeks) and now white smoke when idling or stopped for a length of time (71,000 miles). Long story short, this is a valve stem issue which also appears to plague newer V-8 2009+ models and from my understanding, there's a lawsuit pending regarding a certain V8 engine. Given the low mileage on mine, is this normal? I've owned a 5 series previously and kept it for 150k miles before selling it and it ran like a top. My 7 series has been babied and with only 71k, to replace the valve stem seals this early is crazy. Letters sent to BMW NA, one to the President and on both occasions, was told they won't repair it due to mileage and age of car. Any others experience this issue with 2008 750's, particularly with low miles? I only buy German cars and this will likely be my last BMW.
