The GLC63S coupe was a beast. Lots of torque, gobs of power and felt special with the AMG buckets. It rode pretty harshly, and felt like a big car.
The Macan GTS was like a 911 on stilts - the handling and feel was just on point. It's engine and exhaust note were great, albeit different than the AMG. The steering was fantastic, ride was superb, and quality was a notch above.
Both really great cars, but I'd buy the GTS 9 times out of 10. |
Thanks. I do love the Macan, and it definitely does some things better than the GLC, but that AMG V8 really is something. Merc is making a bold move going down in cylinders in the C63 if rumors are true, that V8 is really is their hallmark and why someone would really want an AMG over an M, RS, etc.
I'll have to get a GTS test drive once production resumes further as they are still lacking at dealers. I plan on probably getting Boxster 4.0 down the road as well so I always like to have a nice variety in the garage. Luckily have a good amount of time till my lease is up to make a decision.
