It is not polite to interfere if nobody asked your opinion! One of the basic rules.
Now, as a second rule,
what is really not polite, is to assume what one can or can not afford! You might be surprised.

And a s a note, it is a forum, we share many things in here and questions are normal, it show interest. Once you post in here, people will ask questions in regards with parts, workmanship, pricing, etc.
