I never bothered to learn about it in my car (not iDrive). It's rather pointless imho, apparently you can only reset it to a set interval so can't customize it, and it doesn't correlate w my maintenance schedule at all, it seems like a pita, just popping up w seemingly useless info. Recently, the tech didn't even bother to reset mine for oil and it's always chiming that I need an oil change when I'm still OK. Am I missing something or not doing it right somehow?
