This was a great idea! Our pets are awesome, aren’t they? I just got through watching a special on PBS about animal rescues in the wake of Hurricane Katrina. They said out of the estimated 250,000 pets abandoned as residents ran for their lives, only 15,000 were rescued. It breaks your heart.
