I was applying for a job once which required a security clearance, I then found out they would require knowing who I was friends with in high school. I asked why, was told they would have to interview them. I ask if that could be avoid since my friend would think it was funny to f-with me and say things which may not be true. I decide not to pursue the job and later ask those friends what they would say if someone called and asked about me and they confirm my suspicion, they would have had field day.
