I had a guy e-mail me via CarGurus yesterday asking if I'd "consider" $28,500 for mine. I considered it all right, for about a half a second and told him.....No. He's the type of buyer that is throwing a bunch of crap at the fan and hopes a piece sticks. I have had people asking me to eat the $4200 MSDs to take over my lease (i.e. pay them $4200 to take over a great lease deal).
I don't blame them for trying but I agree, hang in there OP.
I know if I was personally looking for a E89 to modify with full bolt ons and really turn into a track toy then a manual transmission, N54 with non adaptive suspension like your car would be at the top of my list. Some leftover manufacturer warranty to shakedown any issues is icing.
