I won't argue Phil's legacy. I keep confusing what he did as a coach with two of the greatest ever under him vs his disaster in the front office at NYK.
And this is coming from a Celtics fan that should be saying this about Red. Even with
only five rings, he still has 1,100+ wins and has done it with a single team that has stayed relevant throughout roster changes.
I (and many others) felt this way long before LBJ made his comments.
