About a month ago I bought a 2011 Z4 M Sport from a dealer in Bellvue. A few days ago I got the notice that I had a low L/R tire. I fired up my compressor and aired the tire up to the 42 lbs. recommended. We drove from our place in Entiat to Coeur d' Alene, spent a couple of days and drove home, 180-190 miles. The next day I had another low pressure display so air again. The next weekend we drove to Bothell and spent two days and we got ready to leave and guess what! Yep, air again! By the time we got to Wenatchee (150 miles) low air. I drove on home and air again. I took the car to my fav tire place and they checked the tire for a nail or something like that but the guy didn't find anything so he submerged the wheel and tire in a "bath" and called me to look. There were 5 or 6 cracks in the rim. The tire was leaking like a sieve. I can't imagine what happened to the wheel! The R/R had one crack so I had to order replacement wheels at about $550 each!!
