To get all the parts you have to actuate the roof half way... So that the trunk lid is open backwards and ready to take the roof but the roof is still folded on top of the cabin... then you can open the partition to make room for yourself... and there arent bits of roof/trunk mechanism in the way of the trim... and the light...

Light has nuts that hold it in place... My replacement lights actually did not have the lower bolt...so new one is fixed with only 2 bolts not 3. Probably to relieve stress on the light... They have issues with moisture getting inside probably because tiny cracks at the bottom.

I used this video to replace my lights. Its better to have proper trim removal tool to get the rivets out. But knife probably works. Just dont scratch your trim up... use a towel to protect trim.
