I don't think you need 14 spearkers - quite honestly.
I ordered the 11 speaker package here in Switzerland.
In the German forum somebody claims having a neighbor that works at BMW Sound and he recommends the 11 speaker package.
Nobody really needs 14 speakers, 650 Watt and Surround sound in a roadster (just my two cents).
Don't know what is standard in the US but I had the impression that they only speak about 3 additional speakers (which would make the "normal" HiFi package the default in the US). Not sure here.
The other question is: Can you order the USB interface without the premium sound package? (because for me the USB is a clear MUST).
