I can't agree more. Idk what the obsession is from journalists and some enthusiasts/apologists is with keeping it N/A. It's not like a 230hp 4 cylinder is anything to brag about. Swap in a Civic Type R or WRX engine and tell me it isn't a better car for it. I wouldn't call an engine with less than 100hp/liter high strung by 2020 standards.

Maybe Subaru doesn't want their turbo flat 4 in Toyota showrooms. I can respect that, but this car is held back for it.
