One thing to consider. Maybe your kit was assembled with wrong rear springs that are shorter? Maybe a simple human mistake?

It shows how they take parts from the shelves including springs and there are a lot of them to choose from in the warehouse. Its not like they have a big label E89 Z4 on them.
Also read a thread on F80 forum with similar rear height problem. KW sent him 20mm longer springs to fix the issue.
