I made it to Atlanta at 11pm on 29th, still reeling from the epic-ness of that road trip!
My co-pilot had to unexpectedly travel a week before the drive, so I ended up doing it solo. I'm going to post a detailed description of the drive when I get some time to breathe (in the middle of moving in, etc.)
1,164 miles, 3 full days of driving. ~70 miles was on interstates, everything else was small highways and back country roads. HUGE shoutout to
Efthreeoh for the recommendations. I used that route as a guideline and figured out the rest as I went on. Tried to use Google Maps as little as possible and that allowed me to discover some beautiful roads.
