I have the following 34116799469 + ...70 blue calipers:
1.2 335i M-Sport brakes:
4 piston calipers: 34116799469 + ...70 = BLUE
discs 340x30 mm: 34116792223
brake pads: 34116859282
I would like to use a 370mm rotor 34106797603 and it has been said that these work with the other color calipers (see below):
2. 370x30 mm discs with 4-piston-calipers (for min. 18" wheels):
4-piston-calipers yellow: 34106855475 + ...6
4-piston-calipers red: 34106855477 + ...8
4-piston-calipers orange: 34106855479 + ...80
discs 370x30 mm (perforated): 34106797603
Also it has been said that the colors of the yellow, red, orange calipers above is the only difference and the reason for a different part number is this also true for the blue as well?
So my set-up would be the following:
4 piston calipers: 34116799469 + ...70 = BLUE
brake pads: 34116859282
discs 370x30 mm (perforated): 34106797603
Again will this front brake set-up work?
I've researched until I am blue in the face (pun intended) I put the blue calipers on with the factory 330mm rotors and it appears that there is plenty of room for the larger 370mm diameter rotor.
My 2009 Z4 35i is currently in the shop getting mods and painted so please reply and thanks!
