Someone correct me if I'm wrong, because I haven't figured this out yet, but I don't think there is a way to not play Playlists.
The only way to play all your songs from the iPod, is to go to Search, do Songs, All Songs, Search [OK], then Random them all. That's what I've been doing anyway.
