You can remove the chip from the ecu place and erase the messages from the memory at anytime with the help of a laptop!

I m doing it everytime before i go to my dealer . Its taking 10 minutes!
The parallel ecus are almost invisible .

I understand your point of view because i was thinking exactly the same things.
