If it is what you need to meet your calorie intake quota then it will definitely help. With that said, I don't think it is best to completely rely on meal replacement replacement drinks. Bulk of your calories should come from whole foods, shakes/drinks of that nature are meant to help you hit your macros. Mostly an opinion, but there are plenty of articles that support that as well.
