So I have been thinking, if some cars come fitted with a ski compartment and others don't, what is behind the panel between the seats if no ski compartment is fitted? is there a blanking plate or is it a solid piece of metal. If I make a hole in the panel from inside the car and later put a dummy speaker cover to cover the hole, would this be possible?
Also if I do gain access to the boot area would pulling the emergency release do the trick. I refer to my first post, I can reset the error code the boot opens 1 cm then closes again.
If not then can you take the rear roof panel off with the roof in the (up) closed position?
