Hmmm, maybe you can build a better rifle than a WC or DD for less money but not a standard AR. Pre everything going nuts you could pick up a standard AR flat top for $599. The triggers I put in the lowers I build are $200-$300 alone and still require some other lower assembly parts. A typical lower build for me is around $650 plus the upper.
