A person can't avoid it sometimes because you can't control the other person. One time I was driving speed limit on the right lane and went into the left lane to turn left. The Ford Explorer in the left lane was charging down the left turn lane at 30 over the limit at least and took offense. So for the next block and a half he cut in front and tried to slam on his brakes in front of my car several times. I constantly changed lanes and he kept cutting and slamming. I eventually got aside for a brief moment, rolled down my window, and just shook my head and laughed at him as he peeled off on a right. Nutcase.
