You probably filled it up again, but some air was still trapped in the system and that air is now trapped in the heater core.
Maybe do a coolant bleeding procedure that maybe gets the air out?

Tx, I'm at the shop, the coolant hose cracked. I guess it's due to old age, or maybe I aggravated it when trying to get unstuck from the snow. Anyway, hope it's not too expensive.
