Can't tell what in the bottom looks like cisco UCS or an old Mac server..?
Yes. This is in an area that I walled off in my basement to be my "server" room. It's not required for me to do what I did. But I a nerd and it helps with my line of business interacting with clients/customers. It keeps me hands on and I've done live demos from my datacenter at customer sites.

The power bill isn't too bad. Over the winter I average about $160 to 170 a month in electric bills. I don't have it all running all the time. I'm fortunate I have managed/switched PDUs which allow me to remotely power up and down equipment as needed.

I am running a VMware vSphere 6.5 cluster. I have plans on building out a Hyper-V environment since I've never done it before.

As to the equipment in the picture from the top down:

Cisco MDS9148S
Cisco Nexus 5010
Dell Networking S4810
Dell PowerConnect 8024
Dell Networking S4048
Dell Networking S6100
Dell PowerVault MD3800i
Dell Compellent SC4020
Dell PowerEdge C6100
NetApp FAS3020
Vertiv UMG
Dell PowerEdge R730
Dell PowerEdge FX2
Dell DL4300 (wiped it to be my media agent for my Commvault backup system)
Cisco FI 6332-16UP
Cisco UCS C240
Cisco UCS C240

And other miscellaneous stuff such as a Mellanox IB switch, Dell tape drive, etc. I also have a 24U wall rack with a bunch of other networking gear.
